A home inspection will identify the need for major repairs or builder oversights, as well as the need for maintenance on the house prior to closing. The sense of security and knowledge gained from an inspection will allow you to make a confident decision. If you’re planning on selling your home, a home inspection can give you the opportunity to make repairs that will put the house in better selling condition.
A home inspection is a visual examination of the major elements of the house. The Inspector will check the HVAC systems, interior plumbing and electrical systems, the roof, attic and visible insulation, walls, floors, ceilings, windows and doors, the foundation, basement and structural components.
All inspections are conducted in accordance with ASHI Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics. A written report will be provided documenting the results of the inspection in a concise, organized, readable manner. A Pre-Inspection Agreement is required to be signed by the customer prior to performing the home inspection.
